Description

The MGS 01 is the most exclusive and extreme V twin supersport on the world racing scene. The undisputed queen of the Battle of Twins, holder of the 2006 and 2007 Daytona titles, and winner of the Italian air cooled twins championship, the MGS01 is universally viewed as unbeatable by riders and the next Moto Guzzi legend by race fans in general. Even when standing still, it gives the impression of movement, with its streamlined aggressive profile, aerodynamic front fairing and slender sleek tail. The air cooled, four stroke, four valve 90° V twin has a capacity of 1225 cc and develops unrivalled power at all engine speeds. One glance at the engine components tells you how. Triple ring Cosworth pistons guarantee high compression; chrome cylinder liners reduce friction to a minimum; and all bushes have been replaced with bearings. This immense power is matched by the perfect control delivered by a chassis specifically designed for racing. Excellent weight distribution (with only 200 grams of difference between the front and rear wheels) contributes to fantastic agility, aided by low weight (only 192 kg) and a short wheelbase (1450 mm). The Öhlins fork features robust 43 mm stanchions and provides three stages of adjustment. The rear suspension features a 513 mm box section aluminium swing arm and a monoshock mounted vertically just behind the engine. Braking action is provided by two 320 mm front disks and a 220 mm rear disk with two-pot caliper. The MGS-01 Corsa is a truly exclusive motorcycle, lovingly assembled by craftsmen and dedicated to genuine connoisseurs of motorcycling. That is why each model is accompanied by a booklet containing the rider‘s details and the frame number of each motorcycle. The bike cover and paddock stand both bear the MGS-01 Corsa logo.
