Wider front wheel base

Thanks to it’s wider front wheel tread, the MP3 LT will be registered as a “Trike” and can be driven by riders owning a simple Class B1 car licence

The ideal solution

The MP3 LT 400cc is the ideal solution to all those who have thought about purchasing a scooter for their urban transport needs but are hindered by the fact that they do not hold a motorcycle licence or CBT. It is also aimed towards all those who currently ride scooters up to 125cc but would like to have the advantages of a higher cc scooter without going through the the full motorcycle test training.

Combined brake system (through right pedal) guaranteeing shorter stopping distances 20% shorter than conventional scooters

Due to the MP3 LT being classed as a “trike” there is no legal requirement to wear a crash helmet. As a responsible manufacturer we will advocate and encourage riders of the MP3 LT to wear crash helmets at all times.

Training

As Piaggio are committed to promoting rider safety, a CBT course is incorporated into the price of the Piaggio MP3 LT with the desire to encourage all customers to complete a one day training course in order to gain confidence and act responsibly on the roads. Courses are arranged through our own training school.
